Time After Time...

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Cyndi Lauper grew up in the Ozone Park neighborhood in Queens, listening to the likes of The Beatles and Judy Garland as she grew up. Loving flashy hair colors and an eccentric style of clothing, she was bullied for her uniqueness back then. Running away from home and wanting to study art, Lauper navigated life on her own, leading to a point where she performed gigs with cover bands.

Sick of performing covers and damaging her vocal chords, a doctor said she would never be able to sing again... But that all changed when she found her voice once more through the help of vocal coach Katie Agresta. With early beginnings as the lead singer of Blue Angel then going through bankruptcy, she found her big break as a solo artist when her debut album "She's So Unusual" came out, peaking at #4 in the US and charting globally.

Through time, Cyndi Lauper achieved milestones after every single milestone in her career. Her debut LP in 1983 was the first debut album by a female artist to serve four top-five hits on the Hot 100. These songs are "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", "Time After Time", "She Bop", and "All Through the Night". Later on, the album ranked on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list, and "Time After Time" made it to VH1's "100 Best Songs of the Past 25 Years", and ranked her #58 on the 100 Greatest Women of Rock & Roll list.

Selling 50+ million albums globally and amassing multi-platinum certifications form recording associations, she sure is one of the world's best singer-songwriters of all time.

As her legacy lives on, make sure to be part of the "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour". Don't miss out by booking your tickets now!
