Yep! You heard us right - this summer, catch The Black Keys crew as they take on The States as a part of the second leg of their No Rain No Flowers Tour, starting earlier in August over in New Jersey and making its way right over to the heart of Michigan on Thursday, August 21st for all of our listening pleasure.

Pine Knob Music Theatre and Amphitheatre is so excited to welcome The Black Keys and Gary Clark Jr. right here to the heart of Michigan for a one night, once in a lifetime show as they take on their No Rain No Flowers 2025 Tour. Deemed as one of Garage Rock’s best and brightest talents currently in the game, The Keys are a seasoned act whose main goal is to rock and roll.
Started in 2001 between childhood best friends Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, they rose to fame in the 2010s after their sixth album, Brothers, debuted and saw commercial success with the songs Tighten Up and Howlin’ For You. This album saw the brothers significantly up their touring schedule and their social clout standing as well, grabbing the opportunity to work with the best like A$AP Rocky, Jake Bugg, The Pretenders, and Netflix - to name a few. The group enjoyed working as they pleased - taking on concerts and festivals around the world and eclectic side projects - and even taking a hiatus for half a decade. But the group is back now, and ready to give us their next offering and show dates as well. Fresh off their 2024 album The Ohio Players and two new singles this year - there’s no telling what the guys will have in store for us as they hit the road this summer and find us at Pine Knob - but we do know it’s going to be amazing.
Gary Clark Jr. is a blues singer and guitarist from Austin Texas who is known for his fusion of soul rock and hip hop under one performance and all in the name of good music. Though he went under the radar for many years, he came up around the same time The Keys did, signing to Warner Bros in 2011, and seeing mainstream success then shortly after. He has collaborated with the greats like Alicia Keys and Bun B, and has added production credits and backing vocals to many others. He has toured and performed extensively as well, and we’re so excited to welcome him to Michicgan for what is sure to be an eclectic and amazing opener for The Black Keys.
