In anticipation of their new album "So Much (for) Stardust" coming out this March 24th, Fall Out Boy just announced a 30-date summer tour in support of their new record. The "So Much for (Tour) Dust" will set the band back on the big stage as they perform 2 decades of rock anthems and new music live on stage. The tour's stop at Budweiser Stage will bring along special guests Bring Me The Horizon, Royal and The Serpent, and Games We Play.
The new album follows their 2018 #1 record "Mania" which featured its hard-hitting anthems "Young and Menace", "Wilson (Expensive Mistakes)", and "The Last of the Real Ones". "So Much (for) Stardust" will feature Fall Out Boy's new singles "Love from the Other Side" and "Heartbreak Feels So Good".
"Our band has been an ongoing art project for twenty years and we know there have been many inception points along that journey," shared band bassist Pete Wentz. "We wanted to create an album that merged those points together – something new, but carved from our foundation."
Over twenty years since their debut, Fall Out Boy propelled to become one of the most highly-sought pop-punk and alt-rock acts in this generation. The band has released a slew of hits following their massive breakthrough with their 2005 single "Sugar, We're Goin Down". Their succeeding hits and fan favorites include "Dance, Dance", "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race", "Thnks fr th Mmrs", "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)", "Centuries", and "The Last of the Real Ones".
"We wanted to make a record that was really lovingly crafted and deliberate and patiently guided," lead vocalist Patrick Stump shared in a statement for their new album. "Like someone cooked you a delicate meal. I’m not a very proud guy, but I’m pretty proud of this record."
