Santana is an award-winning rock band that emerged in 1966 from San Francisco, California. Led by the highly-acclaimed guitar god Carlos Santana, the band is one of North America's most influential and commercially successful Latin-American rock bands. The album focused on radio-friendly tracks and featured several renowned artists like Rob Thomas, Eagle-Eye Cheery, Eric Clapton, Dave Matthews, Lauryn Hill, CeeLo Green, and Maña. The album spawned the monster hit singles “Smooth” featuring Rob Thomas and “Maria Maria.” It also became one of the best-selling albums by a Hispanic musician, amassing over 30 million copies sold worldwide. In the U.S., Supernatural earned diamond status after selling 13 million copies. Moreover, the record topped the charts in 18 countries, including the U.S. and the U.K.
