It is that time of the year again. The highly-anticipated Outlaw Country Music Festival is back, and this year's lineup is bigger than ever. Aside from the legendary Willie Nelson and his band, another towering figure in music history is taking part in this annual celebration: the Grammy Lifetime Achievement and Nobel Prize for Literature awardee Bob Dylan. It goes without saying that the iconic singer-songwriter needs no introduction. Just his name written alongside Nelson is enough reason for fans to get tickets for this event.

The tour will kick off on June 21, Friday, at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, Georgia. The tour will stop at some of the biggest venues in the country with a revolving lineup of artists that Shotgun Willie and Bob Dylan take with them. The festival will commence on September 20 at Gilford, New Hampshire's Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion. But before capping the exciting tour off, Willie Nelson & Family and Bob Dylan will grace the Pine Knob Music Theatre stage on September 15.
Michigan fans' evening will be full of delight as the Grammy award-winning rock icon John Mellencamp and the quintet blues and soul blues band Southern Avenue join in the fun. As one of country music's heavy hitmakers, Mellencamp's addition to the lineup is something to look forward to. After all, who wouldn't want to sing along to the heartland rock hits that swept the nation in the 80s and 90s? On the other hand, Southern Avenue's soulful songs, bluesy guitar, and funky grooves will set the mood for the audience, igniting the stage before the legends Nelson and Dylan take center stage.
