Megadeth at Pine Knob Music Theatre

Nobody delivers a metal show quite like Megadeth! The prolific quartet, deemed as part of the Big 4 of heavy metal, has almost four decades’ worth of catalog, and they’re bringing them centerstage this summer and fall! The Destroy All Enemies Tour brings the Grammy-winning metal icons across the nation to serve career-spanning hits to old-school metal heads, as well as newfound fans who have a knack for fast-tempo riffing! Yes, the band has definitely proven their track record in being outstanding performers and 37 years into their career, Megadeth still proves time and time again that they are at the top of the heavy metal food chain.

This summer/fall, the band is anticipated to make a coveted pitstop at the Pine Knob Music Theatre! The show on Saturday, 21st September 2024, will be a thrilling showdown of Megadeth’s cult-favorite hits. Since releasing their debut effort, Killing Is My Business… and Business is Good! In 1985, the band belted out numerous iconic metal gems, such as “Symphony of Destruction,” “A Tout Le Monde,” “Tornado of Souls,” and “Peace Sells.” The band is also pretty much responsible for the most influential heavy metal albums of all time. In fact, many music journalists have credited Megedeth’s Rust In Piece, Countdown to Extinction, and Youthanasia as some of the most influential studio albums that helped shape the metal industry.

For their show at the Pine Knob Music Theatre, Megadeth will be bringing along special guests Mudvayne and All That Remains. Both outstanding bands are from a newer generation compared to Megadeth, but they’re equally as dynamic and energetic on stage. Progressive metal powerhouse Mudwavyne rose to prominence at the height of the nu-metal era. The band dropped their debut album L.D. 50 in 2000 and blew fans away with their complex riffs and math metal-driven breakdowns. The band made waves with their shock rock visuals when they first gained traction in the early 2000s, but it was their superb musicianship and remarkable hits that brought in a massive and loyal following.

Meanwhile, All That Remains brings the element of metalcore into the mix. The band is known for their supercharged performances and epic hardcore breakdowns. The band has a vast catalog of highly acclaimed studio releases, including their career-defining 2008 album, Overcome.
