The Dave Matthews Band, also known as DMB is an American rock band from Charlottesville, Virginia. The band consists of Dave Matthews, Stefan Lessard, Carter Beauford, Tim Reginolds, Rashawn Ross, Jeff Coffin and Buddy Strong. Dave, who is lead Vocals as well as Guitar, Stefan on bass and Carter on drums, these three legends started this extraordinary band in 1991.
One independent live album later the band had already gained popularity, and they had been signed by RCA Records. After the band had gained a few new followers as well as band mates, they went on to release their debut studio album in 1994 which was titled “Under the Table and Dreaming” which was then certified six times platinum! These guys don’t mess around when it comes to releasing absolute bangers!
In 1996 they received a Grammy Award for best rock performance by a duo or group. They received this grammy for the song “So Much to Say” which now has over thirty-four million streams on Spotify alone!
