Celebrating over ten years since the band's formation, 5 Seconds of Summer is set to continue throwing rockin' parties at The 5 Seconds of Summer Show, revisiting five eras of the band's pop-rock legacy. The tour will visit major cities across North America, serving staple concert favorites across its discography such as "Amnesia" from their self-titled debut LP, "Jet Black Heart" from "Sounds Good, Feels Good", "Teeth" from "CALM", "Ghost of You" from "Youngblood", and "Take My Hand" from "5SOS5". With the anniversary tour's first run back in 2021, the band also threw in some live surprise tracks, such as "Outer Space" and "Red Desert".
As tickets come out for the band's new tour, 5SOS is also releasing its new live album – The Feeling of Falling Upwards – Live from The Royal Albert Hall, featuring live renditions of the band's hits with a 12-piece string orchestra and a 12-member gospel choir in a special one-night concert at the iconic UK venue.
From YouTube covers to performing in big arenas around the globe, 5SOS came a long way, citing newfound lessons, confidence, and creativity as they worked on their newest release – "5SOS5". The album charted at #2 on the US Billboard 200, hitting top-5 spots in other countries globally. Fans and critics alike raved about the record for its lyricism, maturity, and the band's growth since their debut, and experimenting with new sounds while paying homage to the band's previous releases.
In an interview with NME, "In many ways, this album feels like the first one to me," shared Luke Hemmings. "…this time around, we had this freedom and sense of feeling carefree, in a way that we didn’t really have the last time around. I think that really shines through in the lyrics: everything has changed, and nothing has changed for us. It was nice to feel as though we’re able to do all of this on our own."
Celebrating growth, friendship, brotherhood, and a decade of pop-rock masterpieces, 5SOS came a long way since their perfect breakthrough with "She Looks So Perfect".
"We’ve changed a lot over the years, and the way we created music needed to change with that as well," Michael Clifford shared with NME. "This has been the only album where we haven’t premeditated a creation start day… we just booked a trip, and decided to hang out and see what happens".
"…we have started to love and respect our band deeper than ever." Ashton Iwrin added.
Celebrating 5 eras in one night, The 5 Seconds of Summer Show is definitely going to be a rockin' night to remember. Don't miss out on 5SOS' biggest hits, fan favorites, new music, and big surprises taking over the live stage at Pine Knob Music Theatre by booking your tickets now!
