Hardy and his Jim Bob World Tour are making a stop at the Pine Knob Music Theatre. Whether you're ready to "Give Heaven Some Hell" or you prefer to "Wait in the Truck" while that's all going on, this is a concert you can't miss. He'll be taking over the Clarkston, Michigan venue for two nights, the second of which takes place on Saturday, August 23rd. This is not a solo job, he's bringing some company!
Sikarus will be the man in the DJ booth when you first step inside the Pine Knob Music Theatre. It's an odd choice to bring in a guy known for tracks like "Narcosis" to open what's mostly a country music show. All in all, it's an interesting way to kick off the night, for sure.
If you're coming out here for country, don't worry, Stephen Wilson Jr. will set the mood quickly after the electronic beats. He's got a duet with Hardy in a song called "Father's Son" that can help all those with daddy issues. "Grief is only Love" is another one of his songs that hits hard.
By the time Koe Wetzel hits the stage, the electronic music will be long gone, and the event will have turned into a full-on country music fest. Koe's got a new album out titled "9 Lives." If you want to sing along to songs he'll bring to the Pine Knob Music Theatre, give his new material a listen before Saturday, August 23rd.

Including a DJ may seem odd on paper, but it can actually be a way to set the tone for the rest of the night. There are certainly traditional country elements to Hardy's music. In fact, he's been quite a darling of the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music in the last few years. He's got a few of those statues in the trophy case at home for "Wait in the Truck" and even another as the Songwriter of the Year. In some of his most recent work, though, he's proven that he's not afraid to delve into some rock. Maybe his tracks are going to feature louder guitar lines, like you will hear from Koe Wetzel. The point is, this show's gotta a little more meat on its bones than your traditional county music night.
Having said this, it doesn't mean that you can't come out with your hat and boots with the Mrs on one arm and a beer in the other. Sticking with the BBQ references, it just means that you're going to be able to enjoy way more sides at this Jim Bob World Tour than you will at your average country music night at a local bar in the area. In fact, you could argue this tour features one of the best overall shows in country music on the road through 2025. That's why you don't want to miss this stop in Clarkston, Michigan!
The Pine Knob Music Theatre is divided into so many different sections that you're going to be able to locate your exact position within this venue way before you step foot here, Saturday, August 23rd. Now, when it comes to a country show like this, you might be looking for a little extra legroom to get up and dance. The pit and the lawn are the two areas that come to mind as ideal to do just that.
