Kidz Bop Live at Pine Knob Music Theatre

KIDZ BOP started as an American children's music group that creates family-friendly covers of popular songs and related media. The group was structured like a music brand, welcoming members ages 9 to 12. A few months before each album is released, KIDZ BOP produces compilation albums with kid-cover versions of songs that are either highly played on modern hit radio stations or have a high charting position on the Billboard Hot 100. Although critics have noted that this does not always eliminate the adult themes from the song, their cover versions continue to have lyrics that replace the original profanity.

Cliff Chenfeld and Craig Balsam, the owners of Razor & Tie, invented the idea, which made its debut on October 9, 2001. KIDZ BOP has now sold over 21 million records and produced over 4.5 million dollars in revenue. The music franchise is quickly expanding internationally with records in five different languages. The international expansion has reached United Kingdom, France, Mexico, and Germany, with each country having its own lineup of KIDZ BOP kids.

In 2007, KIDZ BOP started a nationwide rock concert for kids, kicking off with KIDZ BOP World Tour at Target Center in Minneapolis.

From 2010 to 2020, KIDZ BOP Kids ranked as Billboard's No. 1 Kids' Album Artist. In December 2020, Spotify declared them as the most streamed artist in the US on the Spotify Kids app.

With its July 15, 2014 release, KIDZ BOP 26 became the franchise's 40th album to chart on the Billboard 200. Billboard Magazine proclaimed in November 2015 that the KIDZ BOP Kids are ranked #4 among artists with the Most Billboard 200 Top 10 Albums of all time. The KIDZ BOP Kids have even ranked higher than iconic artists like Madonna and Bruce Springsteen.
In 2015, KIDZ BOP 29 debuted at No. 3 on the Top 200 chart.
KIDS BOP LIVE 2024 tour is set to kick off in June 2024, following a successful tour last year. This year, they are partnering with Unicorn Academy,  Spin Master’s new fantasy-adventure children’s series, which is streaming on Netflix.
